In other news, I got back from the family reunion last night and I had a lot of fun. It was really important to my Grandpa so it was nice to see him smile. I even went to church! The reunion was held in Titonka and Algona, Iowa, where my grandpa's grandpa was the pastor and where my grandpa's dad and aunts and uncles grew up. It was really cool to see this place and we went to church services in the church where Opa preached at from 1909 to 1924, I believe the dates were. The church has been renovated so it's not as it was, but it was still nice to be there and to see where my great grandpa grew up. He died when I was young, only 6 or so, but I still have many fond memories of him, my great grandma, and playing out on the farm with my second cousins. I've never been a country girl at all, but those were good times and good memories I have.
